Interested in becoming a professional truck driver and gaining an in-depth understanding of the transportation industry? The Professional Tractor-Trailer Training Program 602 is designed for those who are interested in learning more and gaining certification beyond the Class A CDL. Students will gain extensive knowledge about the transportation industry, as well as the opportunity to receive a variety of skills and endorsements. 

This program not only teaches students the basic operation of commercial motor vehicles, it also provides an in-depth look at how the transportation industry functions. Graduates of this program will be equipped with knowledge to pursue the path of becoming an owner-operator. In addition to a broad knowledge base of the transportation industry enrollees of this program will get significantly more time behind the wheel.

This helps students obtain employment opportunities that do not always need to utilize the resources for on the job training. Students will learn how to operate multiple vehicle types including but not limited to the following: sleeper cabs, day cabs, Class B vehicles, passenger vehicles, flatbed trailers, and dry van. This program was developed to create a more complete truck driver and the input of our occupation advisor committee has played an important role in the development of this course over the past decade. The institution has been preparing students to enter the field of truck driving for over 25 years and has developed a reputation in the industry as one of the premier truck driver training institutes.

REQUIRED USTDTS CHARGES

  • 2024-2025 Tuition: $11,295.00 (Effective for all students starting after 7/1/2024)
  • Fees: $705
  • Total: $12,000

REQUIRED MEDICAL CHARGES

  • DOT physical: $95 *paid to U.S. Truck Driver Training School, Inc. (third-party DOT acceptable)

REQUIRED SECRETARY OF STATE CHARGES

  • Commercial Learners Permit: $60.00
  • License conversion fee: $18.00 *paid to the Secretary of State

TIME AND LOCATION

All 602 Students are required to be on campus from 8:00 am – 3:30 pm, Monday through Thursday and 8:00 am – 2:30 pm on Friday, for a minimum of 18 weeks

Lunch is from 12:00 pm – 12:30 pm.
