If you’re looking to change your career and become a truck driver, this is the place to start! The Entry Level Tractor-Trailer Training Program 160 is designed to prepare students for the minimum entry level requirements for obtaining their Class A CDL licenses. Students will receive classroom, lab (pre-trip inspection), range (basic control skills), and road instruction throughout the duration of the course.
This program is designed to prepare students to take their Class A CDL exam and to have the opportunity to be gainfully employed in the transportation industry. Graduates of this program can expect to begin their employment as an entry level trainee with a national, regional, or local carrier of their choice. After on the job training is completed, employers will advance trainees to a solo or team driver position.
Part-time weekday students are required to be on campus beginning on their first day of class from 4:00 pm – 8:00 pm, Monday – Friday. This part-time course for Class A CDL students will be a minimum of 8 weeks long.
