Entry Level Tractor Trailer Training Program 160 Part-Time Weekend

If you’re looking to change your career and become a truck driver, this is the place to start! The Entry Level Tractor-Trailer Training Program 160 is designed to prepare students for the minimum entry level requirements for obtaining their Class A CDL licenses. Students will receive classroom, lab (pre-trip inspection), range (basic control skills), and road instruction throughout the duration of the course.  

This program is designed to prepare students to take their Class A CDL exam and to have the opportunity to be gainfully employed in the transportation industry. Graduates of this program can expect to begin their employment as an entry level trainee with a national, regional, or local carrier of their choice. After on the job training is completed, employers will advance trainees to a solo or team driver position.

TUITION AND FEES

  • Tuition: $5995.00 
  • Registration: $40.00 
  • Road test: $100.00 ($100.00 fee for all additional road tests taken) 
  • Drug test: $45.00 *paid to U.S. Truck Driver Training School, Inc. 
  • DOT physical: $95.00  
  • Commercial Learners Permit: $60.00 
  • License conversion fee: $18.00 *paid to the Secretary of State 
  • Supplies/Materials: $100 

TIME AND LOCATION

Part-time weekend students are required to be on campus beginning on their first day of class from 8:00 am – 4:30 pm, Saturday and Sunday. This part-time course for Class A CDL students will be a minimum of 10 weeks long.  

Lunch is from 12:00 pm – 12:30 pm.
