The ELDT passenger endorsement course is designed to meet or exceed the Federal Motor Carriers Safety Administration’s Entry Level Driver Training minimum required curriculum. Students will learn how to safety and effectively operate both a class B manual six speed transmission straight (box) truck with full airbrakes and a passenger bus with an automatic transmission and full air brakes.
Students will learn all theory-based training required of both Class B and passenger endorsement curriculum utilizing our learning management system (LMS). Students will complete all required behind the wheel range and road time with our licensed and certified instructors covering all topics required for behind the wheel training mandated by the FMCSA.
Upon completion of this course, students will be prepared to take both a Class B and passenger endorsement test with one of our in-house licensed and certified Michigan Department of State CDL skills test examiners. Students will graduate from this program with the knowledge needed to safely and effectively operate a Class B passenger vehicle and students will possess the knowledge necessary to earn their unrestricted Class B commercial drivers license with a passenger endorsement.
