STERLING HEIGHTS, MI — May 18, 2026 — U.S. Truck Driver Training School, Inc. (USTDTS) today announced the promotion of Nevzeta Suljic to Vice President of Registration, effective May 25, 2026. The announcement was made by Samka Keranovic, outgoing Vice President and Chief Operating Officer of USTDTS.
Since joining the institution on February 13, 2023, Nevzeta Suljic has established herself as one of its most
consequential contributors — not only in the scope of her responsibilities, but in the depth of her commitment to the people and operations that make USTDTS function. Her transition to Vice President of Registration is not simply a title change. It is a formal recognition of the level at which she has long been performing and the trust that leadership has placed in her.
In her role as Director of Bursar Operations, Suljic took ownership of some of the institution’s most critical financial and administrative functions. She was responsible for tuition accounts receivable and student record keeping — foundational work that directly affects the school’s ability to serve its students and sustain its operations.
Her work extended well beyond the transactional. Suljic played a central role in maintaining and developing
relationships with funding providers, employer partnerships, and student tuition financing partnerships —
relationships that are essential to ensuring that students can access and afford their training. With equal care, she helped ensure the institution’s ongoing compliance with state and federal regulatory bodies, bringing a meticulous standard to record keeping and internal file audits.
Among her most significant contributions to the institution is her role in leading the transition to an almost entirely paperless record keeping system. This was not a minor administrative upgrade. It represented a fundamental shift in how USTDTS manages its operations — one that improved accuracy, accessibility, and institutional resilience. Suljic drove that transition with the same focused, methodical approach that characterizes everything she does.
Those who work with Nevzeta Suljic describe her in consistent terms: serious about her work, structured in her
approach, and genuinely warm to the people around her. She holds herself to a high standard of punctuality and
efficiency, and she holds the work to that same standard. At the same time, she is known as someone colleagues
feel comfortable approaching — always willing to offer help, always willing to stay in the details until something is done right. That combination — precision paired with approachability — is rare in any organization. At USTDTS, it has made Suljic someone who is both trusted and well-regarded across the institution.
As Vice President of Registration, Suljic will continue to operate in her current capacity while taking on greater
oversight and leadership responsibility across the department. The expansion of her role reflects both the natural
progression of her contributions and the institution’s confidence in her ability to lead with the same rigor and care she has demonstrated throughout her tenure.
Samka Keranovic, outgoing Vice President and Chief Operating Officer, U.S. Truck Driver Training School, Inc.:
“Nevzeta has earned this recognition in every sense of the word. From the moment she joined USTDTS, she
approached her work with a level of dedication and care that goes far beyond what the role required. She took
complex, unglamorous work — compliance, record keeping, tuition financing — and treated it with the kind of
seriousness that protects an institution. The paperless transition alone was a meaningful operational achievement for us, and she drove it. But what I want people to understand is that it’s not just what she accomplishes — it’s how she shows up. She is steady, dependable, and deeply professional, while remaining someone that everyone here genuinely enjoys working with. Giving Nevzeta the title of Vice President of Registration is simply acknowledging what has been true for a long time. I could not be more proud to make this announcement.”
Nevzeta Suljic, Vice President of Registration (effective May 25, 2026):
“I am truly honored to accept this promotion and grateful for the confidence that Samka and the leadership of
USTDTS have placed in me. This institution has given me an opportunity to do work I care deeply about — work
that, at its core, is about helping students access the support and structure they need to succeed. I take that
responsibility seriously, and I intend to carry it forward in this new role with the same commitment I bring every day. I look forward to continuing to serve our students, our partners, and this team.”
Suljic’s promotion to Vice President of Registration will not disrupt the day-to-day operations she has built and
maintained. She will continue in her current capacity, overseeing tuition accounts receivable, student record
keeping, compliance with state and federal regulatory bodies, and the funding and financing partnerships she has been instrumental in developing. The institution’s transition to a paperless record keeping system — an initiative she led — will continue to be managed and maintained under her oversight. Students, partners, and colleagues can expect the same level of precision, accessibility, and care that Suljic has consistently delivered. Her new title reflects an expansion of responsibility and leadership, not a step away from the operational work that has defined her contributions to USTDTS.
