This training course is designed for individuals that have previous experience with Class A Commercial Motor Vehicles.
Candidates for this course have previously held their CDL license and have allowed it to lapse due to various life circumstances and need training to reinstate their license.
On the other hand, there are some individuals that have not let their license lapse but have not been behind the wheel of a Class A Commercial Motor Vehicle for an extended period of time. In many cases, trucking companies require CDL holders to take a refresher course before being eligible for employment.
Class Format: Monday – Friday 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
Upon completion of the 80-hour Class A CDL course, the student will be assigned a designated time to take his/her State of Michigan CDL skills exam (if necessary). Upon successful completion of the exam, our certified state licensed examiners will issue a Class A CDL certificate if the individual meets all the minimum requirements set forth by the State of Michigan.
